Hey Everyone!
A few of my friends have started into cloth diapers. These are genius! Saving major money if you go cloth, plus diapers don't break down for a long time. Save money = Save the world!
My friend that did the video below didn't know about cloth diapers until recently and she's pregnant with baby #3 [she also does baby updates on that channel if you're interested]
She compares 3 different brands in this video:
Fuzzibuns, Sunbaby and Springbaby
One of her daughters is still in diapers, so she has tested these. Check out the video and see what she says!
Personally, if I were to have a kid I would probably go cloth diapers.
Yes you're spending a lot in the beginning but in the long run you are saving money. Probably a lot of money because you're constantly having to buy more.
Also, after a lot of research, I have decided I'm also going to be purchasing a baby bullet.
Wait wait wait .... before I even continue I have to state:
that I am NOT pregnant.
Matt and I are NOT trying for a child.
We are NOT engaged/married.
Maybe some day. But not today.
Why am I thinking about this though?
A lot of my friends have kids, so when there's a huge issue with a company that provides food for children, it's posted all over my facebook timeline. Which obviously makes me think about what I would do if I were to have a kid.
Back to the baby bullet though.
I have stated outloud to my mother since this thing came out on the market that I plan on getting one if I have a kid. It's a genius idea, even if it's a little time consuming. I'd get good peace of mind knowing that my child is getting food that i'm 100% is healthy for them.
Mind you, if you think I'm crazy then you should see me reading cat food. I like to make sure Angel [my fur-baby] is getting things that aren't bad for him. He has enough stomach issues, this does not need to be added.
I'm sure there's a few parents that read this, or anyone who plans for the future [like me, I swear I'm not crazy!!]
How do you cut costs and stay healthy for you and your children?
Or how do you plan on keeping costs down and still being healthy??
I WANT FEEDBACK!!
Lol!
I'll leave you with a couple photos since it is #flashbackfriday

Sweetest Valentine
Hey everyone!
Can you believe Valentine's Day is so-close! I want to write down what I'm doing for Matt's gift [and I'm mostly safe because Matt doesn't read my blog] BUT I don't really wanna risk at the chance he could randomly read this post before Valentine's day.
However, if anyone wants to message me and find out - be my guest!
Anyways so I really think everyone needs a soft, sweet, Valentine's day look. Whether you're staying home and watching TV, going out with friends, seeing family or with a sweetheart, might as well dress nice!
I like this look a lot because it's a very "day look" that can easily be switched into a "night" look with minor adjustments.
In Order:
Benefit Erase Paste #1
Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
Too Faced Eye Shadow Insurance
MAC "Vanilla" e/s
MAC "Blackberry" e/s
MAC "Frost" e/s [high light]
Urban Decay "Rockstar" 24/7 liner
BonneBell white liner
MAC "Kitchmas" pigment
Rimmel "Sexy Curves" mascara [extreme black]
MAC "Tenderling" blush
MAC "Angel" lipstick
Hope you guys liked this look!
I'll probably do another one later ;]

Road to Healthy Living Starts Today!
Hey Everyone!
You know how you do one thing and it can completely change how you do things??
Every time I enter a change room to try on pants, I want to cry.
"My butt is too big" "My thighs are too fat" "My stomach is too puffy" "I HATE ME"
Things I usually say while pant shopping.
I absolutely despise buying new pants but every time this happens, I get a lot of motivation to be healthier. It's harder than it seems.
I did, however, get a bit of a workout in today and I'm going to get another in tomorrow after work.
I sit a lot - at work and at home - so when I do my goals in "Just Dance 2", it's under "Intense" What that does is it has "Sweat Points" It doesn't work the greatest because you can shake the remote and it'll gain you points BUT it does motivate you to get to a higher number goal.
I'm actually quite proud of myself today. I was up early to do a workout, shower, breakfast and clean. Now that boxes are going away, it's giving us plenty of room in our dining room. I want to start eating in there but with all the stuff, it's not easy. Slowly it's happening though.
On my other blog I'll show the photos I got of Matt putting together our iKea-ture. It was hilarious because I tweeted a photo and Heather [aka @sokolum] called him a Beaver :D
Anyways I have lots more to clean before work tonight!
Here's my newest video - Neutral Smoke!
Enjoy

Guru Series! Featuring XSparkage
Hey everyone!
How did everyone's New Years go? It's been a bit since I posted and seems even longer since I did a video! So I am here with some goodies!
Video and a post!
First the post of course.
A lot of people ask me things like "how do are you able to be a makeup junkie while on budget?"
Honestly, the first thing I have to say is that I've cut back a lot lately.
I do not wear foundation because the only one that likes my skin is Make-Up ForEver HD in #110 but that isn't exactly cheap.
I do plan on buying some tinted moisturizer but I'm on the hunt for something other than Aveeno [nothing against the brand, but want to keep options open] I'll keep you all posted.
Also - lucky for me - my skin has been quite behaved. *knock on wood*
Another way is that I look for deals. If there's something I really want, like a new perfume [my fave Betsey Johnson one is running low and it's hard to find] then I find out the price, and save up. Sephora seems to be my best bet for perfume though, so I know it's not exactly cheap.
PRICE MATCH!
I cannot stress this enough!
Drug store brands are just as good - depends on the brand - and you can price match at places like Wal*Mart and Zellers. It's great because if Rexall is having a deal on Maybelline mascara, and you have the flyer. Go to whatever is more convenient, show the flyer, get the same price. Simple!
Anyways, here's my video for Guru Inspiration Series - XSparkage!
INSPIRATION:
Products:
Benefit Erase Paste in "Light"
Rimmel Pressed Powder
Too Faced Eyeshadow Insurance
MAC "Chrome Yellow"
MAC "Orange"
MAC "Shock-aholic" [dabbing in "Electric Eel" accidentally]
MAC "White Frost" [highlighter]
NYC Liquid Liner [black]
Urban Decay "Electric" 24/7 liner
NARS "orgasm" blush
Rimmel Sexy Curves Mascara
MAC Hello Kitty "Mimmy" lipgloss

winter blues and sparkles!
Hey Everyone!
Finally got around to doing 2 more tutorials for the holidays.
I actually got a lot of compliments on the first. I have naturally small eyes and this really does open them up. With the gold tones and keeping product minimal, this works on pretty much any eye colour.
[I do note in the video that if your skin is darker to use a darker colour. My skin is really fair so this tone works for me.]
"Bright Lights and Shimmer"
The 2nd is somewhat of a smoky eye idea but with brighter colours [of course]
"Snowflake"
Another thing is, Matt and I are trying to eat really healthy but honestly, it's really hard. Oh it's easy to not buy junk food [cookies, etc] but the fact is, if you look at everything you eat most of the things aren't healthy.
We're big on snacking so instead of cookies or chips, we got tortilla chips and salsa or crackers [triscuits are freaking amazing] I also started doing something else that my dad started.
"The Snack Plate"
What started it was that when you're hungry at night and you don't really want anything heavy on your stomach, you look at the fridge see what's there. Green onions, pickles, cheese, olives, etc. Basically whatever you'd put on a snack buffet works.
As the holidays approach, it's harder to stay on budget and keep waistlines fit. I had my first part of Christmas last Sunday.
I am not a fan of Egg Nog, I'm not entirely sure why I agreed to drinking it.
I'll put more on that in my more personal blog
http://missdangerzone.blogspot.com/
Enjoy holidays!
I'll try to do another video ASAP!

Keeping on Budget for the Holidays!
Hey everyone!
Holidays are coming! You know what that means? SPENDiNG MONEY AND LOTS OF FOOD!!!
I hear a lot of you screaming about budgets and waistlines.
Fear not .... I am here to save you!
This is Part One of Two - Holiday Budget
This Christmas is a lot different than last year. Last year I did go overboard with spending on gifts because I wasn't 100% if I would be able to this year. So glad I did because with moving and everything, my budget has gotten a lot more strict.
Here's a few suggestions for keeping things in budget:
1 - Gift Sets
I cannot tell you how much these help. I got both my grandmothers bath sets. The ones I got have a bodywash, lotion and loufa. These types of gift sets are great because even if you get a name brand, they're excellent pricing.
Which leads me to #2
2 - Name Brands
I can tell you right now that name brands and no name brands are different every where, so compare pricing. Sometimes they're the same price. I happen to buy a lot of no name brand just for the sheer fact it's the same product for even slightly cheaper. [it makes a difference in the end]
When I say price around, I mean it. Flyers are great. Some stores have a "price match" thing.
3 - Price Match
What is Price Match?
Excellent question!
Price Match is when you can find a product in one store but cheaper in another store's flyer. Bring the flyer to the store, when you go to pay for your products you can show your cashier. I know Wal*Mart does this now but I'm not 100% on what other stores do it. Definitly check before you go shopping.
4 - Keep a price range for everyone
If you keep a certain price for everyone, then you can figure out budgetting. For certain people, you may be able to buy a few small things instead of one large/expensive item.
5 - One at a Time or List it!
If you walk into a store without having a person in mind, you can easily over spend. If you're not sure who to look for, try to get an idea of the store before buying - maybe write things down with their price. That way you can also price at different stores. [ie; Price Match]
6 - Find Good Sales
[fyi - I learned this part from my mum's shopping habits]
Many stores make sales/specials that really isn't worth it. There can be two things but only one on sale but if the 2nd has more in it, you're getting your money's worth. Always add things up with 2 for 1 deals, or a certain amount for a certain price [ie; 2 for 20$]
So those are some little tips. I suppose shopping may be a tad late [this really was suppose to be done earlier in November ...] but for all you last-minute shoppers ... SHAME ON YOU!!! But these are good tips year round.
I actually did my first holiday tutorial of the year! While uploading it, I realized how similar it is to Kandee Johnson's tutorial!
There's nothing wrong with that, just the fact in comparison hers is by far better! Lol Oops!
Enjoy!
PS -
Next blog I'm going to talk about the amount of food during holidays!

Holidays, MAC, Video and More!
Hey Everyone!
Well packing for move is coming along quite well. I was kind of avoiding doing the bedroom but the other day I finally got it done. There's a bunch of fragile stuff that is going to be brought over separately [one bonus of moving from parents house ...]
It's a mere 23 days till it all happens!
So I was cruising YouTube while my video uploaded and saw the XSparkage site and she had the MAC holiday collection up. Just as a heads up, I got these pictas from her page. Link with pictas.

This is the full collection

Eloquent Air Lipstick

Such Flare Lipstick

Fancy Moves and Smooth Manoeuvre Technakohls

Frozen Blue and Winterized Mineralized Eyeshadows
To find out more on the collection, and a credit to where I got the pictas is here
As Christmas draws near, there's many things I've been doing - other than packing I swear! - and that's getting xmas gifts together plus HOLiDAY ViDEO LOOKS
I'm not big on Hallowe'en things because I don't feel that what I do compares even close to what's out there. I don't mean that my holiday looks are great, just I can have more options with Christmas parties, Christmas itself and New Years. [Plus other holidays that are celebrated] I think they're a little more fun because it's sparkle, shimmer and glitter. I don't know what it is about it, I'm really not a winter fan but I love how it sparkles. The snow, ice, etc is so inspiring.
Plus the holiday outfits are so pretty.
So far I only have one look, but I am definitely open to different ideas. Send me your pictas, colours, etc. I will definitely get them in!
Anyways so I finally did my tag video.

Well, until next time lovelies!

change is in the air
Hey everyone!
I know some of you followers/readers are on my facebook and/or twitter, so maybe you already know? I mentioned this more on twitter actually.
Change is coming
My blog will probably be changing in a few ways by New Years [ie; 2012] for a few reasons.
1 - layout
I've been talking to my lovely boyfriend about helping me do some customization for my blog layout and stuff. Make it more acceptable to the eye. He does coding for a living, so he's going to help me figure out what's good and what'll work. I've got to figure out what I can do for a banner with photoshop [which I don't have ...] I'll figure something out
2 - posts
Actually, this is somewhat of a brief announcement but nothing is set in stone - YET! We're actually looking at moving at the end of November and because of this, I'll probably be lacking in posts for December, between crazy xmas plans, shoppers and the possibility of no internet .... it'll be hard to post. Unless I can figure out how to switch the internet from being at my parents, to the new place [since parents don't really need the net] then I'll be able to post.
3 - change of posts
Since I'm moving, I may not be posting about the same stuff as before. I'll try to keep it pretty similar. My goal is that this is a beauty blog, but it's somewhat more personal than that. I'm aware. It'll change.
So that's pretty much the biggest changes you'll see coming up. Now for answering the question most people have been asking me:
What are you doing for Hallowe'en costume/makeup? And are you going to do a video?
Ha ha, I love people sometimes! I know last year I promised a video and I did do it BUT it turned out awful. I procrastinated so much, I couldn't re-do the video. This year I'm going to try and do last year's idea at the very least. I'm not 100% what I'm doing for my costume this year but I need to figure it out soon because Matt's work is possibly having a Hallowe'en party. I've got a couple ideas for makeup, but again it depends on the costume.
I'll probably do a video of some sort about that also. Hunting for a costume I mean ...
I've been quite stuck for makeup ideas lately, so I spoke with Ronnnie [aka bowsandcurtseys] about some suggestions. there was a shirt I really wanted to wear, and I wanted to also rock some red lips. So she suggested a simple eye with cat liner.
Beautiful suggestion and very classic. Here's what I went to work with that day!

Also I wanted to try something new with my nails.

I took "Cowardly Lyin" from China Glaze and "Hot Coco" from Essie and got this gorgeous look.

To get this look is really easy.
Take "Hot Coco" and put 2 coats on all fingers you want. Make sure it's completely dry, then take a "Cowardly Lyin" and put a relatively thin coat on top. As if you're doing "Shatter" or "Crackle" look. Let dry, put top coat on and you're done. Simple.
No, that is not an engagement/wedding right. The one with hearts is the Daughter's Pride ring my parents got me, the plain silver band is something I found. I wear it there to even out rings on both sides of my hands.
For those who aren't Canadian, this past weekend was Thanksgiving. Saturday I worked closing shift, but Sunday Matt and I went to his mum and step-dad's place. There was about 9 of us [Matt's mum, step-dad, grandparents, step-grandparents, his brother, Matt and I] and we were so lucky it was beautiful weather.
I got a few new shirts [upcoming haul, promise!] and wore one on Sunday. It's purple and black, but to get the contrast colour right Matt took a photo of me and inverted it. Ended up doing a yellow and green look.

I was considering doing a video on this look, but then I realized that I've done a video on basically the same thing. Yes my technique has improved, but it'd be just repeating itself. Only difference is that I used different colours and there's black liquid liner on top lash line. No "eldorado" or "mildew" used in the above photos. Otherwise, the same. Same idea I guess.
Monday was Thanksgiving at my house.
I swear, between both days I really needed to workout today. I did and I'm glad I got to do 40mins before pain started.
Anyways, I'm off. This is a long enough blog, haha!
Love and makeup,
Katie

Love and makeup,
Katie

Avril Lavigne
I'm sitting here, finishing my iced coffee and watching "Teen Mom" [say whatever, I like it.] I've been calling places I've had interviews and places that may be hiring for the past hour.
I am about ready to call it quits!
This is really frustrating. Going to interviews, thinking you're doing great then never getting a call back. I really want to go back to school - another makeup course - once some of my OSAP is paid down. [I have OSAP from a previous college course.] I'm not even sure if I can put it on OSAP ... but it is almost 3,000$ because I want to take 2 courses. There's a regular course that has lots of info, but then there's the advanced course. Both are awesome and I'm waiting to hear back to find out.
My interview Monday was with - hopefully - a makeup counter. I'm somewhat pushing for Clinique but I suppose I'd go with anything at this rate. I just know Clinique better [actually, I know MAC nd Sephora best but at Clinqiue is #3]
- 2 hours later -
This is usually what happens. I start a blog then disappear for some reason. This time I had to go clean stuff or else I couldn't think. So in addition to what I mentioned earlier about the makeup course. The major course - which is a hefty price - is probably something I'll take first. Neither do OSAP but the bigger course will give me an idea if I want to dish out the money for the 2nd course. Plus I'll get the kit, which is why it's so pricey. My plan is for September 2012 because it's such a huge price. Besides, I know for a few months it'll be complicated money-wise when I move because Matt has 4 months of school left [then graduated! Yay!] so I'll just save what I can, pay down what OSAP I can also and just keep reminding myself that he's got a job and school.
We already talked about this and we know we've got sacrifices to make while he's in school. Such as we're not getting cable. We may splurge for netflicks but not right away. We need internet for his school and so we don't lose our minds, so we'll be able to watch shows through that if we need to.
Products:
Vanilla e/s MAC
Silver Ring e/s MAC
Georgia e/s Cargo
082 e/s MUFE
Zero black cream liner Urban Decay
Black pencil liner [whatever works]
Frost e/s MAC
Tenderling blush MAC

Hearts That Bleed or Good Life?
Hey everyone!
Honestly, sometimes it's hard to keep my cool sometimes with people. Someone hacked a friend of mine's facebook and said really cruel things. When he saw what was said, he apologized and explained his account was hacked. That's still dumb that people hack other people's accounts. Some people clearly need to grow up.
Another thing I'm having issues with is being unemployed. Yes I have been looking like crazy and if something doesn't come up soon I will have to see if a friend of mine is hiring at DQ. It's not my 1st choice but I need an income.
So I actually got a request to do an Avril inspired video. Which is exciting because I actually love her. This is actually a very different look to what she usually wears - it's not a dark eye! It's very grey but does have some of her trademark dark liner. I didn't do the under the eye smokey part because not many people can pull it off - like myself. I did change it a bit, but for the better I feel.
This is actually what I did instead of going to paint ball.

Wedding talk, rumours and a new video!
Hey everyone!
Sometimes people make me laugh with their rumours about me. It use to really bother me, but it doesn't anymore. It bothered me mostly because of who it was and now I'm just kind of use to it. I laugh now.
Latest rumour:
I'm moving to Montreal.
There's a couple things wrong with this.
1 - I don't speak French.
2 - The one who started this rumour, I don't talk to her.
I'm not sure what encouraged this rumour. I mean I do have a friend that is going to school in Montreal and I visited her in March. I def wanna go back because the shopping there is not to be believed. I'd love to move there, but the language is kind of an issue. Yes I'm Canadian but I'm not great in French.
Well that's that.
Also lately a friend of mine nd I have been talking about weddings. Neither of us are engaged but we both watch a lot of wedding shows. So today we started talking about ideals for when we get married. [meaning if it was up to us completely - we both agree the guy should have plenty to say!]
I've learnt how to cut costs because of a few friends of mine have gotten married and they paid for it themselves. [except one, but that's a diff story]

Makeup I actually did nd wore to my friend's wedding.

Doing her makeup - best friend and the bride :]
People say different things about where you should spend your money. Dress, photographer, flowers, etc. Personally, I'd probably get a dress that wasn't too pricey and then go more expensive for shoes. After all, you probably won't wear the dress again but the shoes you definitely can.
What are your opinions on weddings? I love hear different opinions!
NOW FOR THE ViDEO!
So I decided to turn this into a series. Guru's on youtube are those who are really good, get lots of views and possibly partners on youtube [ie; get paid a certain amount from youtube]
Of course they're going to inspire people! Just to show my appreciation to those I watch lots, I

Long Lost Beauty Blogger!
I'm not even saying hi, I'm just going to start off with
I AM SO SORRY FOR NOT BLOGGiNG SOONER!!!
Bad beauty blogger, bad!
Things have been so crazy lately nd i'm not even sure if I'm going to be able to cover all of it! I will be posting 2 videos at the bottom, so bare with me!
Earlier this month - just after my boyfriend stopped his co-op job - I lost my job. I was job hunting anyways, but there's a difference between wanting a new job and having to find a new job. So when I called him saying that I had lost my job, he met me. We went downtown so I could drop off resumes.
I actually have had 2 interviews from one of the places and just waiting to hear back. Hoping it'll be something good - the manager is waiting for a certain area to open up. I'm calling back this week to get a better idea where the standings are, but I know he's interested in me working there.
While we're not working, we have spent a lot of time together. Which is good because at the end of last week, he got kicked out of his house.
HAHAHA!!! Yeh, I'm not even joking. He lives at my house for now. We're both on the mad hunt for jobs so we can look at September move-out. We actually have our eyes on one apartment .... great price, heat/hydro included, etc.
---------
Okay so my boyfriend just got back from getting stuff from his parents' place [well, mum nd step dad's place] nd they're willing to help us with first nd last months rent. I'm so confused but I'm glad they're not fighting anymore, makes him less stressed.
So recently I haven't bought much - other than my haul video - except for Benefit BadGal lashes, a Sephora Safari Cosmetics bag in pink [becuz I didn't have a bag for my purse] nd also I got Clinique's "Take the Day Off" makeup remover ... best I have ever used! It's a little pricy but works amazingly!
NOW FOR THE ViDEOS i PROMiSED!!
Products Mentioned:
www.loosebutton.com
LuxeBox by LooseButton
- "Cowardly Lyin" China Glaze
- Day Serum by Elizabeth Grant [great for dry/older skin!!]
- Exfoliant by Dermalogical [really interesting - powder to paste! soft skin]
- Organic Olive Oil soap
Other:
- FitMe Foundation - Maybelline #115 [lightest possible - pink undertone]
- Pump $7 MAC
- Erase Paste [concealer] in 'fair' - Benefit
- "Like What You Sea?" eyeshadow - Benefit
- "Sugar Daddy" nail polish - Essie
MAC:
- "Center Stage" e/s [Mega Metals]
- "RetroSpeck" e/s
- "Wood winked" e/s
- "Stars N Rockets" e/s
- "Humid" e/s
- "Aqua" e/s [Fashion Flower]
- "Girl About Town" lipstick [VERY similar to "Lickable" - when you wear it, you can tell the difference]
EYELiNER TiPS & TRiCKS FOR SMALL EYES
I realized afterwards this is very similar to how Adele has her makeup done in various photos.
For the eyeshadow I just used MAC e/s in "Retrospeck" so you can clearly see the liquid liner.
- make a clean line from middle of eye to about 1/4 away from the edge of your eye
- make wing at 1/4 from edge of eye
- draw in line from inner eye [near nose] to where you started
- build clean line over middle of eye [like building half a circle]
- keep lines clean
Basic step-by-step of what the video says. [quickly done of course]
I should be doing a video soon that has a very bright, colourful eye colour. I had done it but needs to be re-done because the quality just wasn't right.
STAY COOL!

Caviar Dreams [pt2] & a bit of a vent!
Hey Everyone!
Just as a heads up, if you scroll down there's part 2 of my Caviar Dreams palette tutorial. I'm hopefully doing a Valentine's/Spring look [pending i get a certain palette tomorrow - not sure if Sephora still has it!]
For now, I have to vent.
Why does YouTube even have a dislike button?? People put up videos because they believe in something. I think they should have a like button, sure, but if someone doesn't like the video they can just hit that little red button in the upper right-hand corner that has an "X" in it ... or just leave the page.
All it does is promote negativity.
OKAY so that's it for my vent.

Celeb-Tutorial!
Hey everyone!
So i did my first celebrity tutorial. I'll admit it was very easy but still, gotta start somewhere!!
I decided to do Mila Kunis from February 2011 issue of Cosmo [U.S] because she's stunning nd smoky eye in brown is something I think lots of people would do!
Anyways, I'm hoping to do "Caviar Dreaming [pt2]" this week. I've been debating on doing it because it's so similar to part 1 nd it's super easy. I may change it up a bit before I decide to record.
A few things have been going on lately. Lots of talk about moving nd planning on going to Montreal soon. [it's 2hrs away from me]
Also been looking around for a new job. I don't hate my current one, but depending on when/where I move, this job may be out of my way. I'm really hoping to move away from the little town where I am now.
One of my friends - who's hubby is in military so they move a lot - is coming back for awhile. We've planned to get together on the 19th! So stoked. I haven't seen her in like a year. Her oldest daughter just turned 2 in early January nd the baby was just born in October.
Anyways, on to the tutorial!

I didn't end up doing much because I started feeling really sick - so I had to cancel my plans. I felt so bad because we were making such amazing plans ... *le sigh* I'm re-scheduling our hangout anyways.
Tomorrow i'm going to dinner with a few friends. We're going to our fave buffet place and even though I'm kind of skeptical of it - someone is going nd she recently broke up with her bf - because I want to avoid drama. It's one of my resolutions. To avoid drama, I had far too much of it in 2010
Oh yes, I also got featured in El'Aundra's LRFF [Loyal Rewards Forward Follows]. Here's the link to my feature. Check out her blog!

So also with the other photos from Christmas, you couldn't really see my hair. I recently styled it amazingly. Haha, i'm getting good!!

I'm very aware how volumenous it is! All hail the teasing brush! Haha, it's great!
I've already started planning a few things for 2011!
This weekend i'm going to C's place [hopefully the boots will be in - it's her xmas gift!] We haven't really hung out in awhile - last i saw her was her stag&doe nd she was so busy, didn't see her much. This will be fun for sure :]
Sometime in the next couple months i'm going to Montreal [which is a 2hr drive from where i am now] either for a weekend or the day. Not sure. It'll be mum, me, mum's friend Lori nd Lori's daughter Sarah [who goes to Concordia - the performing arts school]
Hopefully this summer i'm going to NYC with my mum. For anyone who doesn't know my mother, she is in love with that city. I'm not obsessed, but i wanna visit. We're going to do the bus tour - like she did before - and that way hotel nd stuff are included.
The 3rd trip is pending that I don't move this year - which is, once again, a goal - nd that's at the end of the year. Maybe between boxing day nd new years going somewhere south. Cuba is big this year, but we'll see. I'll know probably by August whether or not i'm going. Next New Years has to be awesome. I've decided that party is a must.
I'm trying to make the most of 2011, there was such downfalls of 2010 that the bad out lived the good.
Anyways, I did a tutorial New Years Eve .... here you go! Doing another soon because I love MAC's new line "Cham-pale"!!!
Might do another vid after i finish spending my christmas giftcards!

Have A Holly-Jolly Christmas!
Hey everyone!
So I probably won't be really doing any makeup videos for a few weeks because of holidays and work. I do plan on doing a few tag videos I've been meaning to get to doing and also I'm doing a holiday mash-up video idea for holidays since there's a few things going on.
I'm not going to promise anything but if I can, I'll do a video before brunch on New Years Day .... I am of age and I am planning on drinking New Years Eve. But hopefully I'll get a chance to do it. I'm not sure what I'll end up doing though.
This weekend is going to be busy. I'm getting my hair done Saturday and then Sunday I've got to get some things for parents' stockings. Then I've got an early Christmas with my dad's side of the family. My cousin might have to work but I'm really hoping he doesn't since I rarely see him. I'll try to get a picture with him but it'll look hilarious since he's a foot taller than me and 7yrs younger. Lol!
Some exciting stuff is happening soon! Keep your eyes peeled!
Here's my 2 holiday makeup vids!

Tis the Season!!!
Hey all!!
Okay so I've never been hugely into the holiday spirit as I'm getting older [various reasons] but I'm trying to. I actually finished all my shopping - well main people shopping - by December 1st. THAT iS A RECORD FOR ME!!! Usually I don't start till then. Mind you, I'm a pretty bad procrastinator nd in past years I was working in a mall, so I didn't want to spend anymore time in the crowds than I had to.
I actually kind of "over-spent" this year because I'm not sure what next year will bring. I currently live at home so I have a little leniency with money. I want to move soon - well wanted to for awhile but haven't had the money. It's expensive!
ANYWAYS
so I did my 1st holiday tutorial, which I got the idea from the paper.
So I'll just post a few random photos then the vid at the bottom!

My mother nd i watching holiday shows

Today. I love this sweater

I found this! Haha! loves.

This is my advent calendar. My mum bought it for me haha!

This is Angel. I love him!

Hello folks!
So I uploaded this a couple days ago and between xmas shopping [ONE MONTH LEFT!!] then seeing friends, and just general "omg I forgot!" [oops!] .... I really haven't published this anywhere except youtube.
[note to all: add my youtube, it goes there 1st always]
This is probably my biggest "go to" look because it goes with literally everything - lip, hair, shirt [even tho I usually wear neutral colour shirts, i love bright lips!] and it's so easy to do!
There's a lot of stuff that you don't HAVE to do, so pick and choose.
Enjoy!

Haul!!!
Good morning bloggers!
Is everyone good today?? I'm .... okay. A little bit irritated with where I live because the company is just not being very fair.
Enough about that, I doubt you really care.
I am so happy to share this! I went to a swap last saturday and got a bunch of things. For those who don't know what a swap is: Usually it's at someones house and people bring snacks for everyone. You bring clothes, shoes, books, etc and everyone can pick nd choose what they want. We also ended up watching "Prince of Persia" Such a good movie! I was surprised because I'd heard some bad reviews.
Anyways, so the swap was good. I didn't get a lot but I do enjoy what I did get. The girl running it had saved me a shirt that she thought I would like .... I thought that was nice :]
Well I did a video on the stuff I got, plus a few other things.
Enjoy!
